Margo Talbot

Margo Talbot is a climber from western Canada whose favorite medium is ice and alpine. She has traveled and climbed extensively in the western hemisphere, from the Arctic to Antarctica. She is a guide for Chicks with Picks and runs an adventure guiding company for women called “The Glitter Girls” (www.glitter-girls.ca). Margo is the author of numerous first ascents of waterfall ice in Canada, as well as the main contributor to “Waterfall Ice Climbs in the Canadian Rockies”. When not guiding and climbing, Margo enjoys staying abreast of the global economy and ski touring around her home turf in the West Kootenays.
