Director Chris Alstrin
Chris Alstrin, filmmaker residing in Colorado Springs has been in the film business for the last 7 years. Starting with just a small handheld camera on a trip to Vietnam is how he really fell in love with the motion picture. Since then he has traveled abroad on several expeditions to film. His last film produced Higher Ground has been well received and he is really excited for his future films Luxury Liner and The Continuum Project. Keep posted for his release dates www.alstrinfilms.com
Director Alex Lavigne
North Vancouver filmmaker Alexander Lavigne delivers again… It was a very busy year for this local talent, producing two new full-length films in 2007. In addition to “Crux”, Alex co-created
“Higher Ground” with partner Chris Alstrin. “Higher Ground”, a climbing documentary, spotlights some of the continent's most inaccessible terrain and the people who thrive there. A lens into their boundary-breaking passion illustrates what mountain culture is, an obsession.
Lavigne is presently taking some time off this winter to ski-tour, ice climb and spend time with his family.
