Wanda Rutkiewicz used to be one of the top high-altitude female climbers before she died on Kangchenjunga in 1992. This personal and passionate 45-minute film on the most famous Polish mountain climber reveal many of Rutkiewicz's secrets. It is apparent that in her life Wanda walked two separate paths, which were growing apart as the years went by.
Director Marek Kłosowicz
Marek Kłosowicz has been working as a screenwriter and director of documentary films. He made “In the Shadow of a Reactor”, “Włoszczowa - Faithful to the Cross”, and the documentary series “The Mountain Climbers”. He worked on a number of projects for the Polish TVN Television, including “Unbelievable”, “Robinson’s Island”, and “The Second Face”. Marek is the owner of an outdoor advertising company in Poland.
